General Guidelines and Info. for Recreational Marijuana

Even though Colorado passed a law allowing for the recreational sale of marijuana, many people are unaware that there are also some rules that go along with the new law.  Just as there are different rules in each state about cannabis, each city and town with in Colorado has different rules to the legality of marijuana.  There are some areas in Colorado that do not allow the sale, cultivation, or manufacturing of cannabis or cannabis infused products at all, there are also some places that only allow for medical cultivation, and sale.  Breckenridge is one town that allows all aspects of the marijuana industry to thrive, though below you will find some general guidelines and rules applicable to the town of Breckenridge…

What is the difference between Medical and Recreational?

One of the biggest differences between recreational and medical cannabis is who can legally purchase the product.  Medical products require a Colorado state issued medical card in order to purchase any product that is designated as medical.  Recreational products are able to be purchased by any adult that is 21 years old or older and can produce a valid government ID.

In most cases NOTHING!  The biggest difference in products is seen in the edibles since there are medical edibles available with greater potency than 100mg.  Alpenglow Botanicals grows exactly the same flower recreationally as we did medically and there is no difference in potency.  The same is true for concentrates.
